MORE than 270 people were searched and 32 charged with drug possession during a massive police crackdown at a music festival at Sydney Olympic Park.

Three men and woman will also face court after being charged with drug supply at the Midnight Mafia Music Festival at Sydney Showground last Saturday.
South West Metropolitan Region Operations Manager, Detective Superintendent Jason Weinstein, said those intent on bringing illicit drugs into these events will be caught, charged and put before the courts.
A 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested after allegedly being found in possession of 26 MDMA capsules and cash.
During a subsequent search of a vehicle parked outside the event, officers allegedly located 50 MDMA capsules.
The man was charged with three counts of supply prohibited drug, and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
The woman was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug, and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
A 24-year-old man allegedly found in possession of 30 MDMA capsules and cash was charged with supply prohibited drug and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, while a 22-year-old who was allegedly found in possession of 29 MDMA capsules was charged with two counts of supply prohibited drug.
In addition to the drug related arrests, a 38-year-old man was found with $41,000 in cash. He was charged him with knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.
During the event, 165 people sought medical treatment with nine people taken to hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics for further treatment, six of those for drug-related health issues.
