With fantastic success across the board, five students were named on the 2020 HSC Distinguished Achiever’s List: Sara Sayadi, first in the State in Arabic Extension; Marwah Jansis, second in Arabic Extension; Safaa Awada, fourth in Arabic Extension; Alyssandra Santos, first in Filipino Continuers; and Cassandra Santos, second in Filipino Continuers.
Supporting individual achievement, wellbeing and development for students as well as for the professional growth and performance of staff, the school is recognised as a Centre for Excellence on Improving Teacher Quality and is a Hub School for UNSW.
“We provide an enormous scope of opportunity for our students in a wide range of interests and endeavours,” a spokesperson said.
“We are excited to support talent development in performing arts, debating, sport, visual and creative arts, student leadership and academic excellence.”
Choosing subjects at the end of Term 2 and 4 rather than each year, the ASPIRE curriculum on offer at the school allows students to follow an educational pathway that is meaningful and meets their individual needs and interests.
