IT’S close to formal season and many graduating students are out searching for suits, limousines, partners and the perfect dress – but not all.
For some students, they won’t get the opportunity because of difficult circumstances, missed opportunities or financial strains, but Bankstown Youth Leadership Group will be holding an all-inclusive ‘Fire & Ice’ themed formal to celebrate all young people in the Canterbury Bankstown community.
The youth leadership group believes that every person deserves the chance to experience a special event with all the perks a formal has to offer.
“If you have never been to a formal or missed the opportunity, now is your chance. It is going to be a fun night to remember,” a spokesperson said.
During the night, young people will be provided with dinner, drinks, dessert and a range of entertainment at the venue. The entertainment for the night will include a photo booth, drumming, DJ, prizes and award ceremony, along with other performances.
It will be held at Bankstown Himalaya Emporium Function Centre on Thursday, November 28, from 6pm to late. Young people aged between 14 and 24 are invited to attend this special night in their most valued outfits.
