Youth inspired after ‘celebrity’ Dogs visit

BULLDOGS players have thrilled a group of young Bankstown Bulls Junior Rugby League Football Club players when they turned up at their training session.

Players Declan Casey, Max King, Braidon Burns and Fa’amanu Brown gave an inspiring talk, showed off their kicking skills and offered tips while signing boots and jerseys and posing for selfies.
Bulls Club Secretary Sam Masri said it meant a lot to the young players.
“These Bulldogs players are like celebrities to the kids,” he said.
“We really appreciate them breaking from their busy schedules and taking the time to come down and encourage the next generation coming through.”
Enjoying a strong season, Masri said the Bulls were looking to have at least eight of their teams make the upcoming semi-finals.
“It’s been on of our most successful seasons yet,” he said.
“We will next look forward to kicking off our summer academy in January.”
