Your vote to help youth secure funding

BANKSTOWN Youth Development Service (BYDS) and Story Factory want your votes for ‘Courtroom Slam’, an innovative project that will engage local young people in a creative process examining justice and the law through slam poetry and multimedia art.

BYDS are hoping that their supporters and friends will find a few minutes to vote for their joint project with Story Factory for the NSW Government My Community Project grant.
It’s one of 16 projects in Canterbury Bankstown vying for a share of funding available through the State Government’s My Community Project.
BYDS Director Tim Carroll said: “We have done some great work with Story Factory and are keen to keep that going. This project will result in some beautiful creative outcomes – what both our organisations do best.”
