AS part of Open Inner West, ‘Your Crown, Your Story’ celebrates beauty, expression and belonging and is on offer at Chrissie Cotter Gallery, Thursday to Saturday, June 21-23, 11am-4pm.
A showcase for Fatou’s Hair Architects, a cultural fixture of Newtown for the past 25 years, it will feature African hairstyle portraits by Eunice Konan as well as storytelling through fashion, film and music on opening night, June 20, 6-8pm.
Open Inner West is a 10-day festival unlocking local talents and celebrating culture and diversity through storytelling, music, dance, film, art, theatre, food and workshops.
