Young honour brave old

STUDENTS from Picnic Point High School, now have a much better understanding of what Anzac Day is all about after hearing from a range of speakers, including a Vietnam digger, at their service (pictured) held on Friday, the last day of term one.

A school spokesperson said they played The Last Post and Pacific Islander students performed the Haka as well as hosting 25 guests.
“The students did a wonderful job and as a school, we feel responsibility to maintain the legacy, history and remembrance of Anzac Day each year,” she said.
“This year’s service was touching and inspirational.”
