Worse after jail

A RADICALISED prisoner who made plans from jail to shoot officers at Bankstown police station in 2015, will spend the next 28 years behind bars.

No release until 2047

Bourhan Hraichie, who also tortured his cellmate former soldier Michael O’Keefe before carving “E 4 E” into his forehead in April 2016, was sentenced to a total of 34 years’ jail on Friday and won’t be eligible for parole until August 2047.
During his sentencing, NSW Supreme Court Justice Peter Johnson said that a letter written by the now 22-year-old, showed that his attitude had “hardened” during his time in custody.
