World music flavour thrill in Latino Twist with band king

RENOWNED Latin band leader and Salsa Kingz founder Christian Guerrero is swinging into Bryan Brown Theatre next month to offer up a long overdue treat to crowds missing the multicultural, world music flavours for which he is famous.

Performing with Sonora Galaxia at the closing ceremony at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Christian has been directing Latin bands since the 1990s and is credited with being able to get any audience up on its feet and dancing.
He will be performing his new show, ‘Latino Twist’, with gorgeous songstress Belinda Adams who captivates all with her deep, soulful tones and says he is excited to return to Bankstown after the pandemic break.
“I’m looking forward to doing what I do best and that is to make people happy, spreading the joy with my music,” he said.
“The show will offer something for all, with tunes reminiscent of Italy, Malta, Portugal and the Philippines to name just a few as well as all the Latino favourites.
“I believe music keeps us young and I am looking forward to entertaining all – the young and the young at heart.”
Tickets cost $25 for the April 12 show, with free morning tea from 9am.
