Women robbed taking out cash

A REVESBY man has been charged after allegedly robbing several people while they were withdrawing cash at ATMs across Sydney.

The alleged robberies included: A 61-year-old woman was at an ATM on Waldron Road, Chester Hill, on Monday, October 31, when a man armed with a pair of scissors threatened her and took $1,000 cash before fleeing on foot; a 44-year-old woman was withdrawing cash at an ATM on Selems Parade, Revesby, on Sunday, November 6, when she was punched to the chest and stomach and her money stolen; and a 69-year-old woman was robbed while withdrawing cash at the same ATM on Selems Parade, by a man armed with a knife last Thursday morning.
Robberies also allegedly occurred at Mortdale, Ryde and Auburn, with the man making his escape in a white Subaru.
The 39-year-old was arrested in Riverwood last Thursday and charged with three counts of robbery armed with offensive weapon, aggravated robbery, robbery while armed with dangerous weapon, and aggravated robbery.
