Carnarvon and Fox Hills combined clubs for this year’s Ladies WD2 Pennant and what a combination it was, with the team producing excellent wins each week, not letting their first-round loss get in the way.
As the final round approached, they were invincible.
Since 2004, Fox Hills have won this Pennant eight times – by combining with Carnarvon, this makes it their ninth win and Carnarvon’s first win in this Division.
The local team comprised Stacey Greenacre (undefeated), Monika Chapman, Kathy Knevitt and Anna Mace.
Next up, Jenny Shim and Lisa Kim won the 2024 Ladies Foursomes Championship – 36 Holes over two rounds – with runners up Julie Kim and Cienna Kim (183) and nett winners Elisha Kim and Helen Lee (151).
In the 2024 Ladies Carnarvon Cup which was a tie forcing an 18-hole playoff, the winner was determined by a stroke with Natalia Yeob (86) triumphing and nett winner, Jane Kim (75).
The Salver, Stroke competition Division 2 was won by Soon Ok Lee (95), runner up was Sooja Choi (96) and nett winner, Poong Ja Lee (75).
Meanwhile the Thelma Reus Trophy, Stableford competition Division 3 was won by Katarina Song (35) with runner up Jin Lee (34).
