Woman’s injured after being hit by motorcycle

A WOMAN has been seriously injured after being struck by a motorcycle in Canterbury on Sunday morning.

About 10am (Sunday, August 23), emergency services were called to Charles Street, Canterbury, after a 32-year-old woman was hit by a BMW motorcycle. She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The rider, a 31-year-old man, sustained an ankle injury and was also taken to hospital for treatment and mandatory testing.
