Woman treated in hospital after alleged stabbing by female in road rage assault

A WOMAN was treated at Guildford after she was allegedly stabbed during a road rage assault in Villawood early Sunday morning.

Police were told that two cars – a Toyota Corolla carrying two women in their 20s, and a black Toyota Aurion carrying two women – had stopped at the intersection of the Hume Highway and Woodville Road, Villawood, before both drivers exited their vehicles and approached each other, before one of them allegedly stabbed the other and left in the Aurion.
The two women drove the Corolla to Guildford, where a 26-year-old was treated for lacerations before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
