Witness appeal after motorbike rider’s fatal crash

A MOTORBIKE rider died after a crash in Revesby last Friday afternoon.

Police allege the motorcycle and a white SUV collided on Canterbury Road, near Mavis Street, and despite bystanders performing CPR on the 23-year-old rider, he died at the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Police are investigating and have appealed to anyone with dash cam footage or information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The road was closed for some time and peak hour traffic diverted around the scene.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
