With magic happening in every classroom every day, Principal Matt Lewis calls it the perfect place to educate a child.
“It’s a pleasure to work here, if you call something you really enjoy ‘work’,” he said.
“There are great parents and great students who are friendly, supportive and proactive.
“At our school, it is “All About the Kids” (a sign we have in our staffroom), and our teachers go above and beyond every single day to ensure that the education of our students is at the highest possible level, for the sake of the students, but it also means our results are outstanding as well.”
The school has a strong focus on the continual improvement of student learning outcomes in both literacy and numeracy while maintaining a balanced curriculum in all key learning areas as well as participation in the swimming scheme and other extra-curricular opportunities.
Also taking priority is participation in the ‘Our Spectacular’ District Performing Arts Concert at the Opera House, specialist dance and fitness programs, PSSA sport, community languages including Chinese, Arabic, Turkish and Korean, environmental activities, leadership opportunities and the school’s famous Community Celebration Day.
