All members of the GRG community will this term be donating bottles and cans to be redeemed under the NSW Government’s Return and Earn Scheme.
All money raised from these donations will go straight to charity Little Wings as every 20 bottles or cans donated, pays for one additional litre of fuel for their aircrafts.
Supporting families with sick children in regional areas, Little Wings does amazing work providing flight-based transport and logistical support to access expert city medical treatment at no cost to those who use the service.
“As a school, we greatly look forward to engaging in this activity and to continue to support Little Wings in the life-changing work they do,” a GRG spokesperson said.
An independent, co-educational school for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, GRG offers a dynamic and supportive environment that provides students with varied opportunities for a holistic and engaging education.
This allows each and every GRG student to thrive, grow and prosper.
“The school team have created a safe, encouraging and nurturing learning environment, whereby each student is known and supported throughout their own unique learning journey and given opportunities to experience success and achievement,” the spokesperson said.
“We are a community where the values of sacrifice, community, compassion and service take pride of place.”
