She celebrated her 104th birthday on March 12 with her loving family at the Bankstown hotel – her 25th in a row at the hotel. Amy is sharp-witted and is fiercely independent.
The hotel’s licensee, Michael Griffin, treats Amy to her birthday meal and birthday cake every year and says “we’re lucky to have a family with such strong community ties to choose our hotel to celebrate milestones.
We’re also lucky that Amy doesn’t ask for 104 candles to be lit!” Amy’s family (pictured) are proud of their matriarch and love their yearly tradition at the Three Swallows.
