WALKING group ‘Parents with Prams – The Cooks River’ is on offer this Friday, September 27, 10.30-11.30am, at Steel Park, 531-565 Illawarra Road, Marrickville. Get out of the house, get active and let your bub take in some fresh air and nature, while you meet other parents. International music fest
ZONEOUT International Music Festival at Carriageworks this Saturday, September 28, builds on the growing popularity of neo-classical music which fuses elements of classical, ambient, electronic and alternative music into an evocative musical soundscape. It will feature an exciting collection of leading international and Australian music artists, engaging panel discussions, yoga flows and thought-provoking film. Exhibition in full bloom
YOU can enjoy a cup of traditional Devonshire tea when you visit the launch of the Full Bloom Tea House exhibition by Bess O’Malley at Newsagency Gallery, 332 Stanmore Road, Petersham, this Saturday and Sunday, 12-6pm. Bess said: “This exhibition features paintings of the flowers I grow from seed and the compositions I design in my garden beds. I have tried to stylise nature in my backyard and in my art, creating a colour allegory of my own, in paint and in the soil.”
