PADSTOW Heights Probus is seeking members to join their new club. Retired or semi retired men and women are welcome to come along to the monthly meetings to enjoy fun and friendship at morning teas, movies, lunches, day trips and nights away. PADSTOW Combined Probus Club invites residents to go along and enjoy friendly company, entertaining guest speakers, bus outings, sporting activities, theatre entertainment, holidays, Christmas celebration and picnics. RIVERWOOD Community Centre offers a ‘List Shopping Service’. If you are over 65 and unable or have difficulty with completing your weekly grocery shopping, RCC volunteers will pick up your shopping list from you and do the groceries for you. If you are interested in using this service, register with My Aged Care and call 9533 0100.

IF you enjoy singing, the Bankstown City Choir could be for you. The choir is open to new members of all music levels and meets at Georges Hall Community Centre every Tuesday, 7.30-9.30pm. Details: 9728 3494.

RESIDENTS aged 65 and over with full or limited mobility, are invited to a free Salsa class on Wednesdays, 10am-noon, at Canterbury City Community Centre, Lakemba. Morning tea provided. Participants need to be registered with My Aged Care which the centre can assist with. Details: 9750 9344.

A FREE Healthy Lifestyle Group, including a women’s gym and nutrition education, is on offer at Bankstown Women’s Health Centre, on Wednesdays, 11am-12.30pm; a free craft group on Tuesdays, 9.30-11.30am; a free gentle exercise for women over 55 on Mondays, 9.30-10.30am; free food share on Thursdays, 9.30-10.30am; and $10 yoga on Wednesdays, 9.30-10.30am.
