Dress up fun for Book Week invite
COME and celebrate Book Week at storytime at Emanuel Tsardoulias Community Library in Dulwich Hill, reading some of the amazing books shortlisted in the Australian Children’s Literature Awards, on Monday, August 19, 10.30am-11.15am. Come dressed as your favourite book character. Join in the fun, singing and make something crafty to take home. Suitable for children, aged three to five years. No bookings required.

What’s your meal plan personality?
A LESS Waste Avoidance workshop is on offer on Thursday, August 15, 10am-12pm, in the Yanada Room, 22 Hudson St, Lewisham. Workshop participants will find their meal planning personality and create a meal plan that works for their household. Presenter Susanne Thiebe is an expert professional organiser with 12 years’ experience and is a board member at the Institute of Professional Organisers (IOPO). ‘Secret Garden of Delights’ event
MARRICKVILLE Bowling Club will be transformed into a ‘Secret Garden of Delights’ as part of an evening of auctions, cabaret, dress-ups, lasers, improvisational musical theatre and DJs for Stanmore Public School’s Big Night Out Going Green fundraiser this Saturday, August 17, from 7pm.
