MORE than 100 residents converged on Newtown Neighbourhood Centre on Friday morning, creating a sea of colour with their gaudy outfits to celebrate ‘Wear It Purple Day’ and show support for local LGBTIQ+ youth, with some fun, festivities, giveaways and tasty treats, as well as raising funds. The ‘Wear it Purple Day’ event was organised by Inner West Police Area Command.
