Imagine their surprise when instead of a couple of young development players arriving, Socceroo Brandon Borello and Gabriel Cleur (pictured) paid the MiniRoos a visit.
The Wanderer stars were given the rockstar celebrity treatment thanks to their young fans, with the Under 12s reciprocating by winning their catch-up match against the team coming second.
Granville Waratah SFC President Noel Dona said having the high profile Wanderers pay them a visit was a real buzz for the players and parents. “Making them feel special is great stuff,” he added.
