THROUGH the Independent Living Specialists (ILS) Charity Partnership Program, ILS supports a different charity every quarter throughout each year.

Employees have the opportunity to use their paid days off to take part in a fundraising activity for the ILS’s chosen charity.
As well as helping those in need, ILS believes that the benefits can be even greater for the volunteer.
“Volunteering and helping others can help reduce stress, combat depression and keep our employees mentally stimulated, providing a sense of purpose,” a spokesperson said.

One of the charities ILS supported in 2018, the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) helps babies, children, teenagers and adults living with neurological and physical disabilities, and received $2,966.65 including $1 on the sale of every seat-walker sold.
With a first-rate factory outlet and showroom opening recently in Guildford, ILS focuses on factory seconds, pre-loved, out of box, ex hire items as well as an encompassing a range of new physiotherapy and homecare equipment.
Staff have experience in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, aged care, oxygen therapy, mobility and nursing.
As an Australian owned company, ILS employs nearly 200 staff across its 16 other branches, who collectively work to ensure each customer is always attended to with absolute professionalism.
Supplying many hospitals in the local health district, ILS has contracts with many care package providers, are NDIS ready and have a rehab division for more complex requirements.
