Use creative meditation to gain clarity and boost harmony in life at workshop

AS part of the Soul and Wellbeing Encounters series by House to Grow and in partnership with the council, a creative workshop called ‘Mandalas and Aromatherapy’ is on offer for women on Thursday at the Granville Centre.

In this free creative workshop (pictured) you’ll be guided to create your own collage, based on the principles of the Mandala – a geometric configuration of symbols – and experience transformational powers that will allow you to create more harmony in your life through creativity and aromatherapy.
Workshop facilitator Jill is a collage artist, a certified meditation facilitator and the creative catalyst behind Embody Yourself.
She says the collage that participants will create, allows them to look back and reflect, to look forward and envision but most importantly to bring them into the present moment.
“Creative meditation allows us to connect to our inner world,” she said.
“You will walk away feeling more grounded and with a simple self-care practice tool that offers gentle self-reflection and awareness.
“You will also learn how to connect to our body’s innate wisdom through aromatherapy and a few simple and practical mindfulness techniques, and gain clarity on how you can practice your own aromatherapy self-care rituals.”
All materials are included.
