Unforgettable, fascinating encounter

YOUNGSTERS at Hurlstone Park Children’s Centre have had an unforgettable encounter with a fascinating array of insects.

The 30 preschoolers were introduced to the world of entomology by Pest2Kill through its popular Bugtacular School Roadshow.
They had the opportunity to hold and observe various insects, including Egyptian beetles, burrowing cockroaches, praying mantises, and an assortment of stick insects.
Witnessing these intriguing bugs up close allowed the children to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of all kinds of insects. Plus everyone was gifted an awesome Entomologist-in-Training badge as proof of their new-found knowledge.
Pest2Kill, a renowned pest control company known for its effective and environmentally-friendly methods, has taken a step beyond their usual services to educate and entertain children about the essential role insects play in our ecosystem.
The show, hosted by Pest2Kill’s James ‘Jimmy’ Buckland B.Sc (Env. Bio.), is a community engagement initiative and free for participating schools.
