Undefeated, up for a fight

UNDEFEATED Ty ‘The Trigger’ Telford (pictured) of Tempe, will be bringing his mantra, ‘the right hand can take you around the block, but a good jab will take you around the world’, to Club Punchbowl on Saturday, October 12.

Ty ‘The Trigger’ Telford

He takes on Queensland Boxer Mike Whitehead trained by Glenn Rushton, the man who took Jeff Horn on to beat Manny Pacquiao in 2017.
Then Tyson Lantry from Newcastle, takes on Filipino Rodynie Rafol for the WBF Asia Pacific title over 10 rounds.
In one of the main features of the night – a female bout between two blondes, Dural’s Ebanie Bridges takes on Kiwi Laura Woods.
Both these young women could pass as models but have opted for the boxing gloves instead.
That’s just the tip of the iceberg with more professional bouts on the card.
Amateur boxing will start the afternoon off from 4pm, with fighters coming from all over NSW plus plenty of local ones.
And professional boxing will start from 6pm.
“It’s an extravaganza of boxing as well as being two shows for the price of one,” Neutral Corner promoter Paul Nasari explained.
The weigh in will be at The Mill Hotel from 6pm on the Friday, October 11, with all welcome.
For tickets, call Nasari on 0413 812 274 or go to neutralcorner.com.au.
