Putting it down to dedication and team chemistry, he said it’s fantastic they’ve enjoyed such great results considering this was mostly a new team.
“It’s worth noting that given we have no NPL women’s teams in our area, our Women’s Premier League is the top tier women’s team in the area and I’m extremely proud we are leading the competition that encompasses Cumberland, Parramatta, Hills and Blacktown councils,” Rizk said.
“The women are representatives for the entire district not just our club; we would love the whole area to get behind them.
“The game was live-streamed so there is footage and it’s worth watching, especially their first goal which was an absolute cracker.”
