Sister death hunt

POLICE are appealing for help with their investigation into the suspicious deaths of two sisters whose bodies were discovered in a unit in Canterbury last Tuesday.

About 9.30am, police were called to a home on Canterbury Road, following a report that a body had been discovered by another government agency.
When they entered the unit, they located the bodies of two sisters, aged 23 and 24, in separate bedrooms. It is believed they have been there for “some time”.
Detective Inspector Claudia Allcroft, from Burwood Police, said although there were no obvious signs of forced entry, the deaths appear to be suspicious.
“It’s a very tragic scene when we go to any deceased persons, especially two young sisters,” Insp Allcroft said.
“It’s a sad circumstance, we’re hoping to find some answers.
“If anyone has information about these sisters or anything suspicious in the area, we would urge you to contact police or Crimestoppers.”
