Campsie Police were searching a unit on Taylor Street on Tuesday, August 3, for a man wanted for fraud and driving offences, when they found a 33-year-old in a bedroom, hiding under a mattress inside the bed frame.
The man allegedly head-butted a male detective senior constable during the arrest, before he assaulted a male senior constable.
He was charged with Assault officer in execution of duty, Resist officer in execution of duty, Use carriage service to menace/harass/offend, Harass police officer in execution of duty, Enter inclosed land, Drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, and Dishonestly obtain property by deception (10 counts).
