Two dead following bike, car crash

TWO people have died and one other is in a critical condition following a crash in Greenacre overnight.

About 7.55pm yesterday (Tuesday, May 28), emergency services were called to the intersection of the Hume Highway and Worth Street, Greenacre, following reports of a crash between a car and motorcycle.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the rider of the motorcycle – a man aged 26 – and pillion passenger – a woman aged 24; however, they died at the scene.
They are yet to be formally identified.
The driver of a Toyota Corolla – a man aged 25 – was treated for serious injuries and taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
It’s believed the motorcycle was part of a convoy.
A crime scene was established as specialist officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
