Two charged after car raid reveals drug, cash, phones

TWO men were charged after police allegedly seized drugs during a vehicle search in Guildford last Wednesday.

About 3pm, Cumberland Police approached a vehicle in a carpark on Tamplin Road, Guildford West, and during a subsequent search, allegedly located methylamphetamine and cocaine, as well as four mobile phones. Drugs and cash were also allegedly seized during a search of a home in Robertson Road, Guildford West, later that day.
The 34-year-old male passenger was charged with supply prohibited drug greater than equal to large commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity, and possess prohibited drug, while the 28-year-old driver was charged with recklessly deal with proceeds of crime greater than $5,000 and supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity.

Woman driving 40km over speed limit after drinking
A WOMAN has been charged with drink driving after being caught allegedly speeding more than 40km/h above the speed limit on the M4 at Silverwater early on Australia Day.
Auburn Highway Patrol were conducting speed enforcement duties about 2.40am when an eastbound hatchback was detected allegedly travelling at 137km/h in the sign-posted 90km/h zone.
A breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.080.
The woman, was issued with a Field Court Attendance Notice (FCAN) for mid-range PCA, an infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by more than 30km/h and her licence was suspended.
