Trio charged over spate of home invasions, robberies

TWO men and a woman have been charged with armed robbery and break and enter offences following an extensive investigation in Sydney’s inner west.

Strike Force Cincotta was established by detectives attached to the Inner West Police Area Command in February 2022, following a number of home invasions and robberies in the area.
Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal, detectives raided premises in Rookwood Road Yagoona, last Thursday morning.
The occupant, a 25-year-old man was charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon, cause wounding/grievous bodily harm, special aggravated enter dwelling with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm and supply prohibited drugs.
A couple of hours later detectives executed a further search warrant at a home on Canterbury Road, Canterbury, where a 26-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were arrested, before being charged with robbery armed with offensive weapon cause wounding/grievous bodily harm and special aggravated enter dwelling with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm.
