Trilogy boost for special needs students

WANGEE Park School students with special needs have been given a vital physical and mental boost after taking part in an Activate Clinic program thanks to the generosity of the Trilogy Foundation Canterbury Bankstown.

Principal Lauren Cullerton has described the cheque donation of $2,112 as incredible.
“Trilogy had a contact at Activate Clinic and arranged the program for us, even giving us the cheque to fund Activate Clinic’s sports physiologist Hany Georgy’s eight-week program,” she said.
“We are now in week five and the difference it has made to the children has been unbelievable, with many of them hesitant to participate before but now they are much more confident and get so excited when they see Hany arrive since he makes the lessons so fun. We are hugely grateful to the Trilogy team.”
A not-for-profit registered charity, Trilogy Foundation Canterbury Bankstown advocates and raises funds to advance the education of children with intellectual disabilities in the local government area.
“We are a group of like-minded parents and community members that are striving towards creating a better future for our special needs children,” Trilogy president Maureen Agathocleous said.
“With the support of the council, businesses, schools, clubs and community, we help provide equipment and programs that the children would otherwise go without.”
