WITH increasing cost of living pressures, more young people are having to take up an unpaid caring role to look after family or friends. A grant program offering up to $3,768 to young carers aged 12-25 to assist with educational costs while they provide unpaid care, is now on offer, with applications closing Tuesday, September 12.
