Tight race for award win

THERE are only a few weeks left until the winners of the Canterbury Bankstown Local Business Awards are announced at a gala presentation at Revesby Workers’ Club.

Precedent Productions managing director and Awards founder Steve Loe says it is a tight race with the standard of finalists impressing the judges.
“Our judges have said it has been more difficult than ever to separate this year’s awards contenders and determine winners in each category,” he said.
“After more than 30 years of running the Local Business Awards, I know that businesses in the Canterbury Bankstown are adaptable and hard-working.
“They always put their best foot forward and ensure that their customers receive outstanding products and service.
“While there can only be one winner in each category, as far as I am concerned every finalist is a winner.”
Thanking the major sponsors, Canterbury Bankstown Council, NOVA Employment, Bankstown City Unity Bank and Bankstown Central and support sponsors, Revesby Workers’ Club, Revesby Village Centre, Service NSW and MWLP, Mr Loe said: “Without their support, this program would simply not be possible.”
The Awards presentation evening will be on Wednesday, July 24, at Revesby Workers’ Club.
“The night will feature wonderful entertainment, with local dignitaries in attendance, but the real stars of the show are the finalists and winners,” Mr Loe said.
