ALMOST 200 students from Georges Hall Public, Yagoona Public, Christ the King and Al Hikma College took part in the Woolworths Cricket Blast School Cup at Graf Park, Yagoona.
Students from La Salle Catholic College assisted with the umpiring and event coordination of the day. The high school students participated in the Thunder Leadership Program and were trained in how to deliver Woolworths Cricket Blast School Cup events to primary school students.
The big hitting Daniel Solway was also on hand to provide tips and support to the young players.
The School Cups are aimed at supporting school-to-club retention and drive kids to be active and healthy.
