Three lucky to survive daylight shooting

A man and two children are lucky to be alive after they were fired upon in a Revesby street earlier this year.

Detectives have released CCTV and are appealing for information as part of ongoing investigations into public place shootings in Revesby and Arncliffe.
Just before 2am on Friday, December 27, 2019, police were called to Wollongong Road, Arncliffe, after shots were fired at a home.
Four occupants – including two children, aged two and three – were inside sleeping at the time but they were uninjured.
A white Mercedes Benz was seen driving away on Wollongong Road, before turning onto Done Street.
In a second incident, about 10.15am on Saturday, January 4, a silver Mercedes AMG approached the intersection of Daisy and Gordon Parker streets, Revesby, when a black matte Mercedes Benz reversed and struck the AMG.
The driver exited and fired a number of shots towards the AMG, which drove away.
The occupants of the AMG – a 38-year-old man and two children, aged seven and nine – were not injured.
Detectives from the State Crime Commands Criminal Groups Squad, assisted by St George and Bankstown Police Area Commands, are investigating the incidents – which are being treated as targeted and linked – under Strike Force Cruikshank.
As part of their ongoing inquiries, strike force detectives have released CCTV vision of a white Mercedes Benz and black matte Mercedes Benz, believed to be the same car, that were in the areas at the time of the incidents.
Investigators are appealing to the community for information to locate the Mercedes and identify the occupants who were wearing all black clothing.
In particular, they’re interested in speaking with anyone who may have noticed the vehicle or the occupants in the area around the time of the shootings.
The driver is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, with a beard.
Anyone with information about these incidents is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
