Canterbury Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour said he was absolutely thrilled with the incredible success of the festival.
“The turnout exceeded all our expectations and we’ll be looking at doing this event again,” Mayor Asfour said.
“The vibe, the atmosphere and people wandering from stall to stall, sampling some of the delicious dishes, made for a great day.
“Our local eateries put on a feast and there was no shortage of fun and entertainment for the kids.
“It was just the tonic our businesses needed following a disastrous two years of uncertainty.”
Thousands enjoy festival Bites
