Let their hands do the talking at amateur boxing event
His first fight in NSW, Charlie Kazzi used to travel interstate to fight because he was under the age of 14.
He has previously won Queensland State titles for the age groups of 12 and 13 years.
An exceptional talent in boxing and someone to keep an eye out for as a future prospect, Charlie said: “I can’t wait for the night as I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since I had my first fight in Queensland at the age of 10.
“I don’t have to travel anymore, I can fight in the comfort of my own backyard in NSW. I’m looking forward to putting on a good show and I’ll let my hands do the talking.”
The night will also feature a second youngster, Earlwood’s Ethan Roberts, 14, who will be making his amateur boxing debut.
Definitely set to impress, Ethan is also a talented footballer and recently made the Under 14s Roosters Development Squad.
Ethan’s dad Andrew, who used to play first grade for the Roosters, will also be fighting on the night.
Also showcasing his talents, Earlwood’s Michael Sassine, 16, trains at Belmore PCYC under the watchful eye of trainer Johnny Krishna.
“Michael is a gifted natural puncher with great skill,” Johnny said.
“Come fight night and watch this kid explode.”
Andrew Parrillo, 29, also of Earlwood and working at Earlwood Piazza Cafe, will make his first amateur debut as well. He is a gifted fighter with plenty of potential.
Nicknamed Johnny “The Tiger” Taouk, Johnny Taouk, 30, has shown devastating knock out power with both hands and will make his amateur debut too.
