THE Georges River District Charity Triples (Bear Cottage Day) were held on October 12 at Picnic Point Bowling Club, with 22 teams enjoying the sun until a brief shower at the end. Winners were Anne Roach, Cheryl Patman and Sharon Bevan from Austral Bowling Club (pictured left), with runners up St Johns Park Bowling Club comprising Lucy Roppola, Lesley Arie and Lorraine Peel (right). Scores: Austral 2 wins plus margin 26, St Johns 2 wins plus margin 20.
