Teen smashes into car, fence travelling 200kmh

A P-plate driver has been charged and his licence suspended after being detected allegedly travelling at more than 200kmh on the M5 Motorway at Milperra.

Police were conducting speed enforcement duties on the M5 Motorway at Milperra last Saturday night, when a black Holden Commodore was allegedly detected travelling at 207kmh in a 100kmh zone.
Shortly after, the Commodore exited the M5 on Belmore Road, Riverwood, before mounting a median strip, hitting the rear of a Toyota Camry and continuing through a fence and into a park. Luckily no-one was injured.
The 17-year-old driver was charged with drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, P1 driver exceed speed (more than 45kmh), P1 driver under 25 years drive at night with more than one passenger under 21 years, and negligent driving.

Unlicensed and fled with drugs
A DISQUALIFIED driver was found by a police dog hiding in bushland near Alfords Point Bridge at Padstow Heights, after he allegedly failed to stop for a random breath test last Friday morning.
When the driver failed to stop on Howard Road, Padstow, a pursuit was initiated but soon terminated due to safety concerns.
Police inquiries led them to a house on Villiers Road, Padstow Heights, but when they arrived, the man ran off into bushland. He was found a short time later by a police dog.
He was allegedly found with methylamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and $500 cash.
After being taken to Bankstown Hospital for a medical assessment, he was charged with drive motor vehicle during disqualification period, police pursuit-not stop-drive dangerously, possess prohibited drug, and goods in personal custody suspected being stolen.

Two charged over carjacking
TWO men have been charged over an alleged carjacking after two homes in Lakemba were raided by police.
About 11pm on Saturday, February 20, a 47-year-old man was sitting in his Toyota Hino on Cambridge Street, Penshurst, when he was approached by two men, aged 30 and 45, one of whom was known to him. The 30-year-old man allegedly punched the driver in the head, before taking possession of the vehicle.
Five days later, police located the vehicle on Sproule Street, Lakemba.
Last Thursday, police raided two homes on Sproule Street, arresting two men.
The 30-year-old man was charged with robbery in company, possess prohibited drug and drive motor vehicle during disqualification period – second offence and the 45-year-old charged with robbery in company.

Raid reveals drugs, weapons
POLICE allegedly seized methylamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia, a machete and an electronic stun device from a home in Clemton Park.
Last Tuesday about 7pm, Campsie Police Area Command’s Proactive Crime Team allegedly located the items when they raided the home on Jarrett Street, as part of an investigation into the supply of prohibited drugs.
A 60-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug and possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit. A 31-year-old man was charged with common assault for unrelated matters and an outstanding warrant for domestic violence-related incidents.

Misleading info, theft charges
A MAN has been charged over the alleged coordinated theft of a Toyota Rav 4 from a home at Punchbowl between Thursday and Friday, May 7-8, last year.
The 35-year-old Punchbowl man issued with a Court Attendance Notice (CAN) for publish false misleading material to obtain advantage on Saturday, January 16.
The alleged coordinated theft was uncovered by Strike Force Kyarra detectives investigating the theft of the vehicle and associated suspected illicit activities.

Defrauded woman of $25,000
A LAKEMBA businessman has been charged after allegedly defrauding a woman of almost $25,000.
Police began an investigation after receiving a report that a woman had been defrauded by a financial services business on Railway Parade last December.
Police allege the woman transferred $25,000 to participate in an investment scheme being promoted by a 39-year-old man, who does not hold the appropriate Australian Financial Services Licence for dealing with a financial product.
He was charged with two counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.
