Dad Bill Soliola said she was up at 4am on the day and despite some early nerves, had one of the best games of her life, moving from the forwards role she had in her previous NRLW side to starring as a half for the Bulldogs.
“It was a good effort on Saturday,” Bill said.
“The coach is very happy, we’re all very happy for the side and for Monalisa.”
