Teen assaulted after parked car collision

A MAN has been charged with assault after a collision in Riverwood early last Saturday morning.

A utility driven by a 17-year-old and carrying two male passengers aged 17 and 20, collided with two parked cars on Bonds Street, Riverwood, before crashing into a fence.
The trio were uninjured but a short time later, a 44-year-old man known to the driver arrived and allegedly assaulted him.
He was charged with common assault.
Police are investigating and urging anyone with dashcam footage or information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Arrest over domestic, animal cruelty crimes
POLICE charged a 21-year-old man after a woman was allegedly assaulted and threatened with physical violence on numerous occasions by a man known to her, including being punched, slapped and choked.
Police inquiries led them to a home in Chester Hill where they also located a number of dead pet rabbits and a rabbit carcass in the unit’s freezer, which police will allege were killed by the man after he became frustrated with the animals.
Police were also told that the man filmed the woman during an intimate act without consent and threatened to release the vision.
The man was charged with 33 offences, including alleged serious domestic and animal cruelty offences.
