If they are in Years 7 to 12 and go to school or live in Canterbury Bankstown, now is their chance to audition for the 2024 Talent Advancement Program (TAP).
Program manager Steve Voulgaris said TAP had helped to launch the careers of many music professionals including Paulini and Casey Donovan.
“Supported by the NSW Department of Education, the program is in its 22nd year and is available to all aspiring, high school-aged soloist singers,” he said.
“Selected students attend 10 workshop days held throughout the school year, with tuition and coaching provided by mentors and tutors from the education and performing arts Industries.
“Participants are also offered performance opportunities to strengthen and develop performance, confidence and skill; taking part in TAP is a fantastic opportunity to allow your child to unleash their inner music artist.”
With applications closing on Monday, November 20, auditions will be held on November 27 and 28 at Bryan Brown Theatre.
Application forms can be downloaded from cb.city/TAP and emailed to TAP@cbcity.nsw.gov.au.
