“Being from The Shire, I didn’t want to go ‘across the bridge’, but my sons convinced me to come and see, and I just fell in love with this place,” she said.
The strong sense of community and being a welcomed part of it was a big factor for Sue, having the privacy of her unit while being close to all the village facilities.
“I simply head up the path to join in all the fun with everyone at our restaurant and lounge. Then when the madding crowd gets a bit much, I head back down the path to my lovely unit.”
