COMMITTED to encouraging strong literacy skills at an early age, the team at Cub-Bee House Early Learning Centre, Ramsay Road, Picnic Point, is taking their love of books onto the street, setting up a little library.

“We are very fortunate to have many families (existing and ex) donate books that their children have grown out of,” manager Tammie said.

“It is time for us to pay it forward and share the love of reading to our wider community as well!

“We launched our street library on Friday, with about 30 parents and 30 children in attendance for the morning tea event.

“We hope everyone will support the street library by donating and borrowing the books to read to their children.”
