She was awarded the State Government’s Swim Coaches and Teachers Award for ‘Outstanding Community Service’ and an Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Award in the Champion Sports and Recreation category.
Opening Swimz Guildford just seven years ago, Ms Bedi said she transformed the business “from a humble start to a thriving, community-first institution which it quickly became, reaching full capacity in just six months”.
With the dangerous summer swimming season almost here, she is committed to teaching migrants and children how to keep safe in the water.
“We are determined to continue pushing boundaries, fostering community engagement and setting new benchmarks in the swim school industry,” she said.
