Supercar fans invite to meet favourite drivers

AS anticipation builds for return the Supercars Sydney Motorsport Park, fans will be able to meet with all their favourite drivers in Parramatta on Thursday, July 18, to kick off festivities ahead of the only night racing event of the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.

Drivers will be on hand to sign autographs and meet with fans from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Centenary Square in Parramatta, setting the stage for the highly anticipated three-day event at Sydney Motorsport Park.
“Hundreds of fans came along to our first Parramatta event last year and we hope to see even more this time around,” said Supercars Chief Operating Officer, Tim Watsford.
“Fans will be able to get up close with their favourite drivers and check out some of whats to come under lights at Sydney Motorsport Park at a free community event ahead of one of the most exciting events of the year.
The Parramatta signing session serves as the perfect precursor to the Panasonic Air Conditioning Sydney SuperNight, which will take place from 19-21 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Sydney fans get a marked increase of on-track Supercars action in 2024, with a Boost Mobile Qualifying session, Top Ten Shootout and 200km race to be held on the Saturday and Sunday of the event.
Supercars will hit the track for the first time for a night-time practice session on Friday July 19, giving fans a chance to catch all 25 fire-breathing Supercars under lights after work.
The spectacular night race, Race 15, will commence at 7.35pm. The 51-lapper will he held following sunset under darkness. Sunday’s Race 16 will commence at 4.05pm, with drivers racing into twilight under lights.
Support categories in action at the Panasonic Air Conditioning Sydney SuperNight will include Porsche Carrera Cup Australia, V8 SuperUtes, Touring Car Masters, and Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia GR Cup.
