He said they had 130 students sit exams in 24 different HSC subjects with several students finishing well up in the state rankings, including Turkish where Amity students took the first, third, fourth and fifth spots.
“In modern history one of our students ranked sixth in the state, and in English standard another student came seventh. And in PDHPE we had students place in ninth and 18th,” Mr Aydogan said.
“It wasn’t just the top students who performed well – more than half our Year 12 student cohort scored an ATAR above 80. That’s a result which we are very proud of.”
Mr Aydogan said last year’s good results couldn’t be narrowed down to a single factor.
“The students all worked really hard themselves, and their parents and teachers were also really involved helping them stay motivated and on track,” he said.
“We are so proud of them, they all did really well.”
