The students chose to raise money to support GIVIT which uses donations to fill real, and often urgent, needs in our communities.
A portion of the money raised will be used to buy sporting equipment for the school.
Students were asked to donate money and, in return, received a strip of tape to stick to the wall their Year 6 teacher David Burns and Principal Helen Morgani who got into the spirit of the fun activity for a good cause.
“During their meeting following the fundraiser, the SRC browsed the GIVIT website to select appeals they would like to fund with the money raised,” Mrs Morgani said.
“Many students chose to support those in need following the recent flood crisis and devastated communities around the country.”
